This is the obligatory hello world, does it work kind of post. There seems to be rather a lot to get use to using new tools.

I decided upon WordPress and Joomla as a start to getting some things published that are long overdue. I’ve attempted to use a few other blogging tools in the past but I do like the WordPress interface and admin. As for Joomla… well, that’s mostly because of work and the feeling like I should have some familiarity with a couple different CMS packages. So far it has been… better than most. Here’s to learning something new. I have to admit, I feel like I’m pretty late to the party.
